Itinerary

Day 1: Honfleur — Welcome to Normandy

Welcome to France! After you arrive in Paris, pick up your rental car and begin your 3-hour drive to Normandy (this trip can also be adapted for train travel!). Welcome to Honfleur! Start your morning by strolling through the cobbled streets of the Vieux Bassin (Old Harbour). Delve into the stories of Honfleur's maritime heritage at the Musée de la Marine. Then around midday, engage in a fun-filled family activity: a sketching contest! Find a picturesque spot, perhaps overlooking Sainte-Catherine's Church with its wooden architecture and let your inner artist shine. In the afternoon, visit the Maison Erik Satie for a delightful and slightly quirky musical experience. Day 3: Bayeux — A Tribute to the WWII soldiers

Mont Saint-Michel, nestled between Normandy and Brittany is more than just a picturesque location, it was once an important pilgrim destination. Recent renovations have revived its beachy charm, and the site is spectacular from the moment you catch a glimpse of it until you reach the very top of the Abbey. Day 5: Saint-malo — Enter the Realm of Corsairs

In the late 17th century, the renowned French engineer Vauban fortified Saint-Malo by constructing and enhancing defensive walls, ramparts, and bastions. His efforts significantly bolstered the city's defenses along the Brittany coast, crucially safeguarding Saint-Malo's maritime importance against potential threats at that time. Nowadays, walking through Saint-Malo's charming maze of alleyways, brimming with cute shops and cafes, is a delight. From mussels to oysters, it's a foodie's paradise. In a nutshell, Saint-Malo is a mix of history, beach fun, and lip-smacking eateries.
