Day 1: London — Welcome to the ‘Big Smoke’

Welcome to England where your family adventure of history and mystery begins! Discover why London earned the moniker 'Big Smoke' amidst its foggy past while unlocking the city's deep-seated historical secrets. Experience the unique sights of London through a memorable bus tour! Hop on a double-decker and marvel at iconic monuments that you've seen on TV such Big Ben, majestic Tower Bridge and wonderful Westminster Abbey. With its lush rolling hillsides, and astonishing sceneries and monuments, the county of Kent never fails to disappoint. Enjoy a visit to stunning Leeds Castle and the historic UNESCO World Heritage Site of Canterbury Cathedral, before exploring the White Cliffs of Dover. Day 4: Bath — Roam like a Roman

It is time to leave London behind on your family adventure as you catch an early train (or drive) to the beautiful historic city of Bath in southern England. Take a breather with a leisurely stroll through the beautiful Royal Victoria Park, where you can enjoy a picnic and the kids can play. Spend the afternoon visiting the Jane Austen Centre to immerse yourselves in the world of this beloved author. Wrap up your day with a relaxing dip in the Thermal Bath Spa, perfect for everyone and then top it off with a delicious meal at one of the city's inviting restaurants. Overnight: Bath

Day 5: Bath — Witch of Wookey Hole

Not far from Bath is Cheddar Gorge, the deepest gorge in Britain, home to the enchanting Wookey Hole Caves, a captivating underground world filled with stunning limestone formations and underground rivers. This is a day out to captivate the whole family. Discover the legend of the Witch of Wookey and her supposed home within the caves. Mainly known for its prestigious university, Oxford is a beautiful and historic English city with stunning architecture and rich cultural heritage. Here, your family day will be a pleasant mix of educational and leisure activities. First, take a punting adventure on the river, before immersing yourselves in the city's historic streets with a wonderful fully guided tour. If the weather is clear, a nighttime visit to the Radcliffe Camera makes for a great photo opportunity. Overnight: Oxford

Day 8: Oxford — Literary legends & Discoveries

Today, explore the iconic Oxford University college and the Bodleian Library, with a treasure of ancient manuscripts. The Ashmolean Museum and its diverse exhibits, from Egyptian artifacts to European art, is a must for culture enthusiasts. Afterwards, head over to the Eagle and Child, a famous Oxford pub which was a regular meeting place for literary legends like C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, where you can enjoy a traditional British lunch with your family. Windsor Castle is a great British monument and a great place to visit for family fun and history enthusiasts alike! Windsor Castle, the beloved royal abode of the late Queen Elizabeth, is a memorable family outing thanks to its regal tales and its breathtaking gardens which you can discover at your leisure. This captivating place not only offers engaging holiday activities designed for kids but also presents an array of exhibitions that showcase its rich and coulorful past. Windsor Castle also has its very own ‘changing of the guard’. Overnight: Windsor

Day 11: Windsor — Grateful for History's Whispers and Family Laughter
